Tandoor Indian Cuisine- Provo

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! This is not your typical Indian restaurant. It’s very spacious quiet without loud Bollywood videos being played. The service was fast and attentive. We had Lamb Coconut Kosher Korma, Butter Chicken, and Lamb Vindaloo. Each were delicious and the garlic naan was freshly baked and hot! The level of spice was perfect too. My new favorite in Utah Valley!

The food was delicious and the restaurant was very nice as well. We went on a Friday night and it wasn’t busy at all. We were greeted at the end with delicious complimentary mango ice cream and were so happy with that! The only issue was we came as a group and asked our check to be split, but instead of each of us paying for our own portion, our waitress split it evenly amongst us then never came back for us to have her fix it. Someone who didn’t speak English came and grabbed the checks without a word after quite the wait when we flagged him down and so we just paid the even split but it was a little frustrating for us. The food was amazing though, the service was a bit lacking tonight though.

Great place for Indian food. We have driven by for years but never tried it out. Tonight we decided to stop in and give it a shot. The prices are fair, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, albeit spread a little thin. I would readily recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. I personally can vouch for their butter chicken curry. We will definitely be returning.

This is a regular spot for us. Of all the Indian restaurants in Utah Valley I've been to, this is my favorite. The samosas are the best of anywhere, and after trying lots of menu items I've never had one I didn't like. There's always enough food for leftovers, so the price is unbeatable! It's rarely ever crowded, is always clean, and I love the small complimentary mango ice cream you get at the end.

Tonight my husband and I went to dinner at Tandoor on a whim. I can say confidently that from now on we would choose this restaurant over Bombay House and Indian Palace for Indian food in Provo (our experience was phenomenal!). I’m not the type to leave a review, but my experience here was so great that it warrants a review. The ambience provided by the restaurant's serene outdoor setting was amazing as it’s on a deck surrounded by a small river and trees. I would highly recommend eating outside if weather permits! The food at Tandoor was simply exceptional. We tried the Lamb Coconut Korma, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan, all of which were delicious. The lamb in the coconut korma was tender, and the butter chicken was rich and flavorful. However, what truly set Tandoor apart was their outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. From their warm greetings to their attentiveness throughout the meal, their level of care and professionalism was unparalleled. It was genuinely some of the best service we have ever received at a restaurant. For dessert our waiter brought out the Mandarin Ice Cream, and it was AMAZING. I would come back just to have that ice cream again. Overall, Tandoor exceeded our expectations on every level. The ambiance, the food, and the exceptional service made our visit truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience in Provo.

This place is OK-not great, but not bad. We went on a Friday night and had no problems being seated; however, we had to flag down our server multiple times to be taken care of. To their credit they did give is free mango ice cream that was delicious to make up for it. My wife had the butter chicken, her go-to, and she didn’t think much of it. I had the chicken biryani and I liked it better than she liked her dish, but I’ve had better Indian food in Utah County. In my opinion the best is Kohinoor, and this place is not nearly as good. I would say the atmosphere here is much better and on a warm afternoon they do have outdoor seating by Provo river, which should be very nice.
